2022 KCET Mock Seat Allotment Results

KCET Seat Allotment 2022: Important Information

We stated above that the KCET seat allocation process has begun, and applicants who qualified for the KCET entrance exam can choose their course and college. When locking the reference of courses and colleges online, you should keep these points in mind. 

In order to fill the right choice online, candidates should write down the name of the course they wish to enroll in along with the college name in which they wish to enroll.

It would be better if you looked at the cut-off of the college where you want to get admission to get an idea of your chances of admission as seats are allocated on the basis of merit lists.

  • Write down a list of colleges you want to consider and don’t limit yourself to only one option.

Procedure to Enter the option in KCET 2022 Seat allotment
Follow these steps to complete the option entry procedure for KCET Seat allotment 2022;
Step 1: First, log into KCET’s entry portal with the CET application number and password provided on the page. Use the link at the end of this post to log in directly to the page.

Step 2: After logging in, the candidate must create a stronger password with the combination of an alphabet, a number, and a special character. Choose a secret question and enter a valid and active email address.

Step 3: You can now log in again with a new password. Upon logging in, a page will appear on your screen, where you can mark your choice. Take a moment to review the page and the choice you have made before submitting.

Allotment process for KCET seats

Seat allotment for KCET shall be completed in two rounds; Seat Allotment Round I, Seat Allotment Round II and Seat Allotment Round III.

Allotment of KCET seats in the first round-:

There will be the first round of seat allotment for students with disabilities, NCC candidates, and sports candidates. The PH candidates will get the first preference, followed by the NCC applicants and candidates from the Sports category.  Seats will be allocated according to the reservation rules and merit for candidates in UR and reserved categories.

Allotment of seats in the 2nd round of the KCET-:

Round 2 of seat allocation will fill the remaining seats. This round will allocate newly added seats, unfilled seats, surrendered seats, and forfeited seats. Seat allocation round 2 will be introduced after candidates have checked their preferences in seat options. Candidates who do not wish to change their preferences will be admitted to KCET according to their preferences. A candidate who participated in round I of KCET can also apply for round II, but the candidate who did not enter any choice in round I is ineligible.

Allotment of seats in the third round (final casual round)

The officials will initiate this round of seat allocation if seats remain unfilled.
