Semester-wise Mumbai University Results in 2022

  • Mumbai University holds exams twice a year.
  • Each calendar year, university exams are divided into two halves. In March-April, the first half of the exams are held, and in October-November, the second half.
  • Forms for the first half of exams are filled out in November, and those for the second half in June.
  • Approximately 10 days before the start of the exam, the University posted the exam schedule on its website.
  • Various courses report their results for the first half of the semester in April-May-June.
  • A student may evaluate, re-check, reassess, and inspect answer books after the declaration of the result through an online application. We will not entertain any applications received after the prescribed date.
  • Once the university announces the final revaluation, students’ mark sheets will be provided.
  • The university will specify the location, date, and time for students to pick up their marks.
  • The results are displayed as PDFs and individually for each course. It is not necessary for students to remember their registration numbers, enrollment numbers, and other login information if the result is presented as a PDF.
  • Students who have appeared in the exam will be listed in the result PDF.
  • A student’s name, total marks, grades, marks obtained, and the result will be listed on the result.

Procedures for university entry and admission

  • Some courses require students to take an entrance exam in order to be considered for admission. The university accepts students based on their scores in qualifying exams.
  • Online applications are required for admission to the university. Throughout the month of May, the official website releases the application forms.

Mumbai University is one of the oldest universities in Maharashtra. It is informally known as Mumbai University (MU). MU was formerly known as the University of Bombay. With a long history of 161 years, it has contributed its best to the country and to the state. Mumbai University has three prominent campuses, namely: the Kalina Campus (230 acres), the Thane Campus (6 acres), the Fort Campus (13 acres), and the Ratnagiri Campus. The Fort Campus of the only administrative work is carried out on the Fort Campus.

A total of 749 colleges are affiliated with MU, offering undergraduate, postgraduate, certificate, and distance learning programs as well as research opportunities in the fields of arts, science, commerce, engineering, technology, management, education, law, etc. The university currently has around 60 departments that provide quality education to students on its various campuses.
