The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) conducts the Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination every year for the recruitment of various Group ‘B’ and Group ‘C’ posts in various Ministries/ Departments/ Organisations of the Government of India.

The qualification of the candidates for Group C and Group D posts will be based on their performance in the combined graduate level examination. Criteria for applying for SSC CGL 2022
It is necessary for candidates to satisfy the eligibility criteria in order to take the CGL exam.
SSC CGL is one of the most popular entrance exams in India. Every year, lakhs of students appear for the exam in the hope of securing a government job. The SSC CGL eligibility criteria are prescribed by the Staff Selection Commission. The commission has laid down certain conditions that candidates must meet in order to be eligible for the exam.
The SSC CGL eligibility criteria are as follows:
- Candidates must be citizens of India.
- They must have completed their graduation from a recognized university.
- The minimum age limit for appearing in the exam is 20 years and the maximum age limit is 30 years. However, there is a relaxation in the age limit for certain categories of candidates.
- Candidates must be physically and mentally fit to perform their duties as per the job they are applying for.

CGL Application Fees for SSC:
According to the candidate’s category, the application fee is different. The application fee is generally Rs.100. Women candidates, as well as candidates from reserved groups such as SC, ST, ESM, and PWD, do not have to submit an application fee. There is no application fee for these candidates. The application fee must be paid via the online safe transfer window only by unreserved candidates.
