Tamil Nadu NEET Expected Cut-Off Marks 2022 – GEN, OBC, SC, ST, Category Wise

On its official website, NTA announces the results of NEET 2022. Candidates who have qualified for the exam now await the release of state-specific cut-off marks and merit lists once the results are published. Further admission procedures will be conducted by separate authorities for each type of seat in NEET since seats are divided into All India Quota seats and State Quota seats.

Tamil Nadu NEET Cut-off 2022

As per the instructions of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) on behalf of the Medical Counseling Committee (MCC), India, the concerned government medical colleges, central universities, and other colleges will release the merit and cutoff lists for 15% of all India Quota seats. State authorities will release 85% of state quota seats, however. Tamil Nadu’s Directorate of Medical Education (DME) will conduct cutting-off marks and counselling for NEET. Under the state quota seats, each medical and dental college will release its own cut-off mark. Cut-off marks for NEET Tamil Nadu will be released once the rank list is released.

Cut-off marks for the Tamil Nadu NEET 2022

NEET cut-off marks play a crucial role in the admission process. Cut-off marks for NEET are the minimum marks required to qualify for the exam or to get into the preferred college.

There are 720 marks in the NEET exam, and 601 is the minimum qualifying score. Only those candidates who secure 601 marks or more will be admitted to MBBS if their scores are equal to or higher than the fixed cut-off marks. The cut-off marks are fixed category-by-category, meaning the criteria for every category will be different.

The cut-off marks for Tamil Nadu NEET will be released by each medical and dental college in the state. The main factors which are taken into account when preparing cut-off marks include- Number of candidates who appeared for the test, the Number of seats available in the college, Reservation Criteria, Exam difficulty level, Total marks, Marking Scheme, Scores of the candidates, etc.
